Charcoal Grill Smoker
I love my charcoal grill smoker. I have the option of using it as a food smoker or a barbecue. I try telling my friends and family that this is the best and most cost effective way to go. I know many people who have both a smoker of some kind and also a barbecue in their backyard and they are paying twice as much for the upkeep. I have one grill and I even re-use my charcoal after I have a barbecue when I smoke .
I have been an avid smoker and barbecue junkie for over 30 years now and I'm telling you that you just can't beat the flavor of food cooked outdoors. I also believe strongly in using charcoal as opposed to propane. I think people just get lazy with propane because you can get the fire started so much easier in the winter time or when it is raining or windy. I still think that you are taking the sissy's way out if you can't even take 10 minutes to prepare your charcoal grill smoker with some fine quality charcoal and then spice it up with some cherry or maybe some apple wood for flavors that are out of this world. Tell me you can get that flavor with your Pro Pane Ha!
The best way to go about choosing the perfect charcoal grill smoker for you and yours is by doing a little research BEFORE you buy. I'm telling you with the internet available these days there's just NO excuse for going to your local barbecue and smoker store unprepared. You can find out everything you need online prior to talking to the salesman. Look online and use your common sense to decide the characteristics you will want for yourself when you bring your charcoal grill smoker home and start cooking with it. You will also want to look at the prices and maybe some accessories that are or are not available to make sure if that particular product will suit your needs. Then when you have all your ducks in a row you just walk into your local store and tell the salesman exactly what you want and what you will pay and don't forget to pick up the charcoal, wood and food on the way home because you'll be dying to fire that baby up tonight!
